The lightest wand in Vpro's range: a one-piece machined 12 inch head on a 1.5 inch titanium tube with two stainless steel jets, built in the United States. As supplied here it has a red powder-coated tube and the standard clear anodised head.
This is the Vpro wand that suits a strong portable extractor or a smaller truckmount. It is also the easier tool to handle on stairs, in hallways and in furnished rooms where a 14 inch head is more wand than the space allows.

What the 1.5 inch tube tells you
Tube diameter tells you what the tool needs behind it. A 1.5 inch tube and a 12 inch head are a sensible match for a strong portable extractor or a smaller truckmount, where a 2 inch tool would simply be more slot than the machine can pull air through.
The trade-off is coverage. A 12 inch head takes more strokes to clean a given floor than a 14 inch head, so on large commercial work the wider tool earns its keep. For residential rooms, stairs, hallways and anywhere weight and manoeuvrability matter, 12 inch is easier on the operator.

This tool runs two stainless steel high-flow Vee jets, 1/8 inch 11002. We stock that jet as an individual spare, so a worn or blocked jet is a same-day fix rather than a shipment from the United States.

Choosing between the Vpro tools

- Non-swivel wand, 14 inch head, 2 inch tube, 4 jet. The same head and coverage without the swivel, for operators who prefer a fixed head and fewer moving parts.
- Non-swivel wand, 12 inch head, 1.5 inch tube, 2 jet — this tool. Portables and smaller truckmounts, and anywhere lighter handling matters more than coverage.
- Swivel stair tool, 9 inch head, 2 inch tube, 2 jet. Stairs, upholstery bases and tight areas a full wand cannot reach.

Frequently asked questions
Will it run on a portable extractor?
This is the Vpro wand most likely to suit one, provided the portable has real vacuum behind it. Tell us the make and model and we will give you a straight answer rather than a guess.
Is the whole tool titanium?
No, and it is worth being clear about it. The tube is titanium; the head is machined aluminium with a clear anodised finish. That combination is deliberate: titanium for the tube that takes the handling loads, aluminium for the head where machining accuracy and weight matter most.
Why only two jets?
Two jets are matched to a 12 inch slot. Adding jets to a narrow head puts down more solution than the airflow can recover, which leaves the carpet wetter, not cleaner. The 14 inch heads carry four jets because they have the width and the airflow to use them.
Can the glide be replaced?
Yes. It is a thick slotted virgin PTFE glide and Vpro supplies replacements as a service part. We order Vpro spares on our regular shipments rather than holding them, so tell us early when a glide is wearing thin.
Can I get a different colour?
Yes. Vpro powder-coats tubes in a range of colours and can anodise heads in colour as a cost option. Vpro is upfront that anodised colour fades and marks with professional use, and that clear anodised is the most durable finish, which is why it is the standard. Colour changes are a build option, not a stock item, so ask us about lead time before committing.
How long does one take to arrive if it is not in stock?
Vpro builds in Los Angeles and ships to us by sea. If your configuration is not on our shelf, the wait is measured in weeks rather than days. Ring us for the current position before you plan around it.
