Important — Check the Marking on Your Valve First
Two similar-looking valves are used on these same tools, and they take different kits.

Look at the valve body before ordering. The two kits are not interchangeable, and the part numbers themselves are easy to transpose — 167 and 671 use the same three digits.
If you cannot read the marking, send us a photograph of the valve and we will identify it.

The manufacturer does not publish the kit contents. Rather than list parts we cannot confirm, we have left them out — ask us if you need to know what is in it before ordering.
Operating Advice
- Identify the valve before ordering, not after the tool is apart.
- Work clean and lay the parts out in order as they come off. Valve internals go back one way.
- Replace every seal in the kit rather than only the one that failed. The others are the same age.
- Depressurise and disconnect before starting.

How do I know which valve I have?
It is marked on the valve body — "DAM" or "K". Send us a photograph if it is not legible.
What if mine is the "K" type?
You need PCMPRK671, which we do not currently stock. Contact us and we will source it.
Will this kit fit any upholstery tool?
No. It is specific to the D300 and D400 with the DAMTECH valve.
Is it worth rebuilding rather than replacing the valve?
Usually, yes. A repair kit is a small fraction of a replacement valve where the body is sound.

This is the kit most often ordered wrong, because the two valves look alike on a tool that is already dismantled and the part numbers are the same three digits in a different order. Thirty seconds looking at the valve body saves a return.
