Replacement 220 psi pressure switch for the Aquatec 230 V 220 PSI Demand Pump (CCW code AQT-220), from the Aquatec DDP5800 series. The switch is what turns a demand pump on when the trigger opens and off when pressure is reached, and it can be replaced on its own without replacing the pump.

Important — This Switch Is Pressure-Specific
This switch suits the 220 psi AQT-220 pump only. It is not for the 120 psi Aquatec pump (MPC306) or the 12 V pump in the SpeedClean CoilJet CJ-125. Fitting a 220 psi switch to a pump and machine built for lower pressure will over-pressure the solution line, jets and fittings.
An earlier version of this page listed the 12 V CoilJet pump as a fit. That was wrong and has been removed.
The Symptom
A failing pressure switch shows up as a pump that cycles rapidly with no demand, or one that will not shut off when pressure is reached. Both are hard on the pump.
Check for a leak first — a genuine leak produces the same rapid cycling and is a cheaper fix.
Fitting Advice
- Isolate the machine from the mains before you start. Work on the mains side of a 230 V appliance is licensed work in Australia — order the part if a qualified person is doing the job; otherwise send the machine in.
- Aquatec advise that the pressure switch set screw should not be adjusted more than one turn without consulting the factory.
- Limit rapid on/off cycling to no more than 6 times per minute (Aquatec DDP guidance). A pump that cycles faster than that has a leak or a failing switch.

Will this fit my CoilJet?
No. This switch is for the 230 V AQT-220 pump only.
Can I use it to raise the pressure of a 120 psi pump?
No. Every component downstream — solution line, jets and fittings — is rated for the pressure the machine was built with. Match the switch to the pump.
Do I need a new pump or just the switch?
If the pump runs but cycles without demand or will not shut off, rule out a leak and then the switch before replacing the pump.
