Check these when a machine starts to vibrate
The driver plate is the part that carries the pad and takes the orbital load. A mounting screw that has backed off changes the balance of the head, and the first symptom is vibration through the handles rather than an obvious fault. Check them as part of routine service.
Identifying the right part
Fasteners and small components change between production runs, and the part on your machine may not match the current drawing. Measure what you are replacing, or photograph it against a ruler, and send that with your model and serial number. It takes a minute and it saves an order that does not fit.
