Encapuclean O2 combines a synergistic hydrogen peroxide detergent blend with a special encapsulating polymer to bring you the most versatile encapsulation product available.
The unique peroxide boost in Encapuclean O2 helps activate the other key ingredients enabling it to remove soils and stains from almost any source. It also helps effectively remove many spills and spots (coffee, wine, blood, urine-caused discolouration, and more) during the cleaning process. Carpets cleaned with encapsulating polymers have been demonstrated to stay cleaner longer than when traditional cleaning solutions are used.
As with other products in the Encapuclean family, the encapsulating polymer bonds to, surround, and encapsulates soil allowing it to be removed from the carpet during routine post-vacuuming. In addition, the unique polymer blend helps resist soiling long after the cleaning process. Encapuclean O2 contains no harsh solvents or high pH phosphates, making it safe and effective to use on all synthetic carpets and wool.
Encapuclean O2 can be used effectively as a hot water extraction pre-spray, a low moisture encapsulation cleaner, a bonnet cleaning solution, an encapsulating hot water extraction rinse, and a carpet spotting agent. For low moisture encapsulation cleaning, it can be used in conjunction with a Brush Pro counter-rotating cylindrical brush agitation machine, a Cimex Machine, as part of a bonnet cleaning system, and with an oscillating agitation machine.

pH and fibre compatibility
Bridgepoint publish a pH figure for most products in this range, and it is the single most useful number when deciding what to put on a floor.

Rinse to a neutral or slightly acidic finish. Alkaline residue left in the pile attracts soil and can cause the carpet to resoil faster than before it was cleaned. That is what an acid rinse is for, and why the pH of the rinse matters as much as the pH of the prespray.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this on wool?
Check the pH against the table above and read the label. Products at pH 11 and above are for synthetic fibre unless Bridgepoint state otherwise. Wool tolerates a much narrower pH band than nylon, and alkaline damage is not reversible.
Why does my carpet resoil quickly after cleaning?
Usually alkaline residue left in the pile. High pH cleaners work by breaking down soil, but anything left behind stays sticky. Rinsing to a neutral or slightly acidic finish is what prevents it.
Do I need to dilute exactly?
Yes. The dilution on the label is what the published pH refers to. Running a product stronger than specified moves the pH further from neutral, which increases both cleaning power and the risk to the fibre.
