Overview
Single-throw rocker switch, non-marked. Part number GN-00E-P3B10218.
Used on Dry Air Technology air movers that need a plain on/off switch rather than a speed selector.
Check the switch before the motor
On an air mover the rocker switch is the most-cycled component and one of the most exposed — operated several times a day on a machine that gets wet, dusty and knocked about.
Before condemning a motor or a capacitor on a machine that will not start:
- Inspect the lead and plug. Razorback's own safety instruction for this class of equipment is to inspect the power cord visually before every use. A cut or frayed cord takes the machine out of service.
- Does it run if you hold the rocker firmly? Worn contacts.
- Is there voltage at the switch output with it on? If yes, look past the switch.
A switch costs a fraction of a motor and is the more likely fault.
"Non-marked" — and why that is useful
The switch carries no printed I/O legend, which makes it a general-purpose replacement across a range of machines rather than one tied to a particular panel.
The trade-off is that you must note the orientation before you remove the old one. With no marking, there is nothing on the switch to tell you or the next technician which way is on. Photograph it fitted, and fit the new one the same way round.
Measure before you order
Rocker switches look near-identical across sizes and configurations. Check the panel cut-out and the number of terminals, and photograph the wiring before disconnecting.
Dry Air's other switches are not interchangeable with this one: RD-00E-P3A10286 (two-speed, Force 9) and GN-00E-P3B10222 (three-speed, Typhoon).
Electrical safety
Isolate at the plug before you start. Equipment used in Australian workplaces is generally subject to periodic electrical testing and tagging obligations, and this gear works on wet sites where a fault matters more than usual.
Frequently asked questions
Is it marked on/off?
No — it is a non-marked switch. Note the orientation before you remove the old one.
Which machines does it suit?
Dry Air Technology air movers that use a plain on/off switch. Send us a photo if you are unsure.
Can I use it as a speed switch?
No. It is single throw — on or off.
What are its electrical ratings?
Not stated in the documentation we hold. Ask us if you need the specification.
Send us a photo of the switch you are replacing, with the terminals visible, and we will confirm.
