Tile & Grout Tools & Accessories
Hard surface work punishes equipment in a way carpet cleaning does not — higher pressures, hotter water, abrasive slurry, and a customer expecting the grout back to its original colour. The tool has to contain the spray, lift the slurry and leave the floor close to dry.
Spinners do the bulk of the field, but grout lines, edges, coving and shower recesses are still hand work, and the detail tools decide how long that takes. This is where the time goes on a hard surface job, and it is where the customer inspects first.

How to choose
Size the spinner to the machine, not to the floor. Diameter drives vacuum demand. A 15 inch head needs materially more airflow and lift to clear its own slurry than a 12 inch, and a machine that cannot keep up leaves water behind. The full machine range is in Tile & Grout Cleaning Equipment.
Pressure rating governs what you can actually clean. Sealed porcelain and glazed tile tolerate far more than natural stone or an old cement-based grout. Check the tool's rating and the machine's output together, and treat stone as a lower-pressure job until you have tested an inconspicuous area.
Buy the Gekko wand once, then buy heads. The wand is the platform — one body takes the whole range of heads, so the operator changes attachment rather than tool and the vacuum connection stays made. Adding an edge tool later costs a fraction of adding a second complete tool. The SX-7 and SX-15 attachments exist to work with those Hydro-Force tools; check which you have before ordering — the numbers are close and the parts are not shared.
Squeegee for water, brush for soil. The squeegee head clears standing water and slurry on smooth surfaces. The brush head agitates grout and textured tile. Using the squeegee on textured floor leaves the grout lines untouched.
The coving tool is what finishes a wet room. Shower recesses, hobs and coved junctions are exactly where a spinner cannot reach. The Gekko edge and coving tool, the 4 inch hand tool and the Cobra C-150 are what stop a good floor being let down by its margins.
Concrete adapters change the ride height. Bare and polished concrete are rarely flat. The hyper casters supplied with the 12 inch adapter are what stop the tool digging on an uneven slab. Slab work is in Concrete.
Decide whether you are sealing. If grout sealing is part of the service, plan the applicator and chemistry in from the start — the floor has to be genuinely dry, which changes the order of the day.
Hose sizing matters more here than on carpet. Slurry needs velocity — undersized or over-long hose is a common reason a correctly specified spinner underperforms. A short whip assembly at the tool end takes the twisting and abrasion that would otherwise wear the main run.
