CleanFREE Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner represents the next generation in extraction cleaning and rinsing solutions. CleanFREE provides soap and detergent-free, sudsless cleaning. Its non-toxic formula contains no volatile organic compounds and is odour free at use dilution, and is formulated to be free-rising from the carpet. CleanFREE will leave no sticky soap or detergent residues that can contribute to rapid re-soiling of the carpet and spotting wickback. CleanFREE also uses the activating power of carbonation to assist in soil suspension and removal without the use of harsh solvents, bacterial enzymes, and potentially harmful bleaches.
CleanFREE will provide you with excellent cleaning results, even on the dirty and grimy carpets, yet it is still formulated to meet or exceed cleaning requirements for warranted stain-resistant carpets and nylon, olefin, polyester, and Triexta carpeting.
It is a versatile cleaning agent also. While it was designed as an extraction rinse for portable and truck-mounted extractors, its unique formula makes it also effective as a hot water extraction pre-spray, spotting agent, and low moisture cleaner in a bonnet cleaning.

If you're looking for one emulsifier that's strong enough for a carpet but safe enough for upholstery, this is it! It has a low pH so it can be used on virtually any fibre that can be safely cleaned with water. It's also safe for your equipment!

pH and fibre compatibility
Bridgepoint publish a pH figure for most products in this range, and it is the single most useful number when deciding what to put on a floor.

Rinse to a neutral or slightly acidic finish. Alkaline residue left in the pile attracts soil and can cause the carpet to resoil faster than before it was cleaned. That is what an acid rinse is for, and why the pH of the rinse matters as much as the pH of the prespray.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this on wool?
Check the pH against the table above and read the label. Products at pH 11 and above are for synthetic fibre unless Bridgepoint state otherwise. Wool tolerates a much narrower pH band than nylon, and alkaline damage is not reversible.
Why does my carpet resoil quickly after cleaning?
Usually alkaline residue left in the pile. High pH cleaners work by breaking down soil, but anything left behind stays sticky. Rinsing to a neutral or slightly acidic finish is what prevents it.
Do I need to dilute exactly?
Yes. The dilution on the label is what the published pH refers to. Running a product stronger than specified moves the pH further from neutral, which increases both cleaning power and the risk to the fibre.
