Fitting Advice
- Switch off and unplug the dehumidifier, and let the condensate reservoir drain.
- Note the flow direction of the old valve before you remove it — most check valves are marked with an arrow. Fitted backwards, the pump will not discharge.
- Fit the new valve in the same orientation, with the arrow pointing away from the pump.
- Check the hose clamps or fittings are secure, then run the machine through a pump cycle and confirm water leaves the machine and does not run back.
