Wire duct collar for the Phoenix 250MAX dehumidifier. Phoenix part number 4028593.
The duct collar is the fitting on the machine's outlet that a lay-flat or flexible duct attaches to. Without it you cannot duct the dry-air discharge anywhere.
What the parts list says
Named as item 23 in the Phoenix 250MAX 50 Hz service parts list, Wire Duct Collar, one fitted.
Phoenix list different duct collars for different machines — the R150 parts list names 4026309 and the D385 names 4024078 (5.75" × 12"). They are not interchangeable. Check your machine before ordering.
How it attaches
The Phoenix 250 MAX owner's manual (50 Hz, part 4032290 Rev. B) describes this as a detachable rectangular exhaust collar that lets 25.4 cm (10 in) round lay-flat duct be attached to the machine's outlet:
- Push the end of the lay-flat duct through the centre of the collar.
- Roll the duct end outward so it overlaps the outside of the collar.
- Snap the collar, with the duct on it, over the four screws at the blower outlet.
The 250 MAX also has a 12 in inlet. The collar is for the outlet only.

Why duct the discharge
On a contained drying set-up, ducting the dehumidifier's dry-air discharge is what puts the driest air where the water is, instead of into the middle of the room. It is the difference between a chamber that dries evenly and one where the wet edge takes twice as long.
A damaged or missing collar is the usual reason a technician gives up and runs a machine undirected. It is a cheap part to keep the option open.

Correction: an earlier version of this page said the 10 in lay-flat (4024935) was not a stocked CCW line. It is — linked above. Phoenix also list a 16 inch × 25 ft flexible duct (4028357), and the 250 MAX manual lists a 12 in × 25 ft intake flex duct (4024750) for the inlet. Neither is currently a stocked CCW line — ask us if you need one.
Fitting advice
Check the collar's fasteners and any gasket while it is off. A collar that is loose on the housing leaks dry air back into the room, which is exactly what you were ducting to avoid.
Do not hang the weight of a long duct run off the collar. Support the duct at the first metre.

What duct size does it take?
Phoenix does not state the collar's diameter in the 250MAX parts list we hold, but the 250 MAX owner's manual does: the collar takes 25.4 cm (10 in) round lay-flat duct. CCW stocks the matching Phoenix 250 mm lay-flat (4024935). If your machine has been modified or you are unsure, measure your existing duct or ask us before you order.
How does the duct fix to the collar?
Push the duct through the collar, roll the end back over the outside, then snap the collar over the four screws on the blower outlet.

No. Ducting is a separate item.
