Twice the run time
The high-capacity pack delivers up to double the run time of the standard VP20A 3400 mAh battery. On large-area disinfection or deodorising work that is the difference between one battery change and three.
Looking after lithium-ion
Store at partial charge rather than flat or full, keep the pack out of a hot vehicle in summer, and stop using any pack that has swollen, been crushed or been dropped hard. A damaged lithium pack is a fire risk and it does not always show its damage on the outside.
Charge with the manufacturer’s charger. A generic charger with the right plug and the wrong charge profile is how packs are ruined and, occasionally, how they catch fire.
