Capacity is run time
This is the standard pack. The VP20B at 6800 mAh delivers up to twice the run time from the same sprayer — worth it if you are covering large areas or working a full shift without returning to a charger.
Most operators carry two packs regardless. A sprayer with a flat battery halfway through a job is a job that stops.
Looking after lithium-ion
Store at partial charge rather than flat or full, keep the pack out of a hot vehicle in summer, and stop using any pack that has swollen, been crushed or been dropped hard. A damaged lithium pack is a fire risk and it does not always show its damage on the outside.
Charge with the manufacturer’s charger. A generic charger with the right plug and the wrong charge profile is how packs are ruined and, occasionally, how they catch fire.
