Phoenix Coupling Insert Male R150/250m Base

Regular price $11.88

Overview

Phoenix condensate coupling insert — the male half of the quick-release coupling on the dehumidifier's drain outlet. Phoenix part number 4023080.

The coupling is what lets you connect and disconnect the condensate hose without tools and without spilling the contents of the drain line onto a customer's floor.

What the parts list says

Phoenix's 250MAX 50 Hz service parts list names it as item 10, Coupling Insert 0.38 Tube, one fitted — paired with coupling body 4024910 (0.25 tube) and 0.25" ID × 33 ft hose 4024916.

Important — do not confuse the two inserts

Phoenix use two different inserts with the same coupling body, and they are sized differently:

  • 4023080 — listed in the 250MAX parts list as the 0.38 tube insert (this part)
  • 4027277 — listed in the R150 parts list as the 1/4 inch tube insert

CCW's records list both against the R150 and the 250MAX, but Phoenix's own parts lists separate them — the 250MAX list names 4023080 and the R150 list names 4027277. Measure the tube on your hose, or take the old insert off and compare, before you order. If you are unsure, send us a photo and we will identify it.

The R200 uses a different pair again — body 4026306 and insert 4026986. None of the three families interchange.

Operating advice

Check the insert's O-ring when you fit it. A coupling that drips when connected is nearly always a perished or nicked O-ring, not a worn body.

Keep the insert capped or clipped into its body when not in use. The most common cause of a leaking coupling on a restoration job is grit picked up off a wet floor and dragged into the seal.

Do not force a mismatched insert into a body. It will feel like it is going to click and it will damage the seal.

Frequently asked questions

Which machines take this insert?

Phoenix's 250MAX parts list names it. If you have an R150 or an R200, check the list above — those machines are documented with different inserts.

Does it come with an O-ring?

Not stated in the parts list. Ask us before ordering if you need one.

Is it the machine end or the hose end?

The insert is the male half. On these machines the body is the female half that latches onto it.

Send us a photo of the coupling on your machine and the hose you are connecting, and we will confirm the correct insert before you order.
