Phoenix Clamping Lever for Focus Airmover Stand

Overview

Clamping lever for the Phoenix Focus air mover stand. Phoenix part number 4025475.

The clamping lever is what locks the Focus at the angle and height you set it to. When it fails, the machine will not hold position — which on a directed-airflow air mover is the entire point of the stand.

What it fits

CCW's record identifies it as the clamping lever for the Phoenix Focus air mover stand. We do not hold a Phoenix parts list for the Focus, so we cannot confirm this against a manufacturer document or give you the lever's thread size and dimensions.

Send us a photo of the lever you are replacing before you order and we will confirm. Clamping levers are specified by thread size and lever length, and a lever that looks identical can have a different stud.

Why it is worth fixing promptly

A Focus is a directional air mover — the value of it is that you can put airflow exactly where the wet material is, at the angle that works, and leave it there. A stand that creeps under vibration slowly returns the machine to pointing at nothing in particular, and the operator does not notice because the machine is still running.

The failure is also progressive. A lever that has started to slip gets tightened harder, which wears the clamp faces faster, until it will not hold at all. Replacing the lever early is cheaper than replacing what it clamps onto.

Fitting advice

Check what the lever clamps against while you have it apart. If the clamping faces are worn or polished, a new lever will slip too — that is a different repair, and worth knowing before you order.

Do not over-tighten a plastic clamping lever to compensate for worn faces. You will strip the stud or split the lever body.

Many clamping levers are of the ratcheting type — the handle can be pulled out against a spring and repositioned without loosening the clamp. If yours is, use that rather than forcing the handle past an obstruction.

What thread size is it?

Not stated in the documentation we hold. Send us a photo or a measurement and we will check before you order.

My stand slips even with the lever tight. Is a new lever the fix?

Not necessarily — check the clamping faces. If they are worn or polished, the lever is not the problem.

Is the stand available separately?

Ask us. Tell us what you need and we will see what we can source.
