This axle is for the Drago 1600 psi. The Balboa takes its own axle. Check the machine before ordering.
Fitting a new axle
Work on a bench rather than on the floor of a van. Support the machine so it cannot roll, and check the wheel bearings while the axle is out — a worn axle and worn bearings almost always arrive together, and replacing one without the other means doing the job twice.
What a worn axle looks like
A wheel that wobbles or sits out of line, a machine that pulls to one side when wheeled, or a wheel that has started to rub the frame. None of those are urgent faults and all of them make the machine harder to control on a ramp or a staircase, which is where damage to a property happens.
