Tramex HH14TP30 – heavy-duty handheld pin probe (DIN)
A hand-held pin probe with cable and pins, for taking wood moisture content readings away from the meter body – into a subfloor cavity, behind a skirting, or anywhere the meter itself will not reach.

Frequently asked questions
Handheld probe or hammer probe?
The handheld probe presses pins into accessible timber for surface and near-surface readings. The hammer probe drives insulated pins to depth in dense or thick material. Most restoration technicians end up with both.
Can it read materials other than wood?
Yes – drywall and WME (wood moisture equivalent) readings in other building materials, depending on the scales your meter offers.
