Tramex HA21SP52B – hammer-action pin electrode (Bayonet)
The bayonet-connector version of the slide-hammer electrode, with insulated pins for driving to depth in timber and structural substrates. Insulated pins read only at the tip, so the reading reflects the depth you drove to rather than the wetter surface layers.

Important – check your connector
This is the bayonet version. It will not connect to a CMEX2 or MRH3 – those need the HA21SP52 DIN version.

Frequently asked questions
Why insulated pins?
An uninsulated pin reads the wettest point anywhere along its length. Insulated pins read at the tip only, letting you measure the moisture gradient through a timber member rather than one surface-dominated figure.
Does this work with the DL-RHTX datalogger?
The DL-RHTX port is for relative humidity probes. Pin electrodes are used with the meters listed above. Contact us if you need to confirm a particular combination.
