Protimeter HygroMaster 2 and Aquant Dual Meter Kit

Why a dual meter kit
One instrument cannot be in two places. A dual kit lets one meter log or sit in a sleeved hole while you keep measuring elsewhere, or lets two technicians work the same job at once. It is also the cheaper route to both measurement methods than buying the instruments separately.
What each instrument does
HygroMaster 2
Relative humidity, air temperature, dew point, specific humidity, infrared and contact surface temperature, and surface proximity to dew point. Logs unattended and downloads to PC software. Sold separately here.
Aquant
Non-invasive only. It reads below the surface using radio frequency and leaves no pin marks, which suits finished surfaces, tiled areas and pre-purchase inspection where damage is not acceptable. It gives a relative reading rather than a moisture content figure. Sold separately here.
Choosing between this kit and the SurveyMaster kit
The Aquant is non-invasive only. The SurveyMaster dual kit adds pin measurement, which is what quantifies moisture and tracks drying. If you need to document a drying curve, take the SurveyMaster kit. If your work is locating moisture without marking finished surfaces, the Aquant is the right tool.
Which generation of instrument is supplied
Protimeter has released updated versions of both the SurveyMaster and the Aquant. Kit part numbers were not changed when that happened, so the generation supplied in a dual meter kit is not something we will state from a part number alone. We have asked Protimeter's Australian distributor to confirm it. If the generation matters to you — for a tender, a fleet standardisation or matching an instrument you already own — contact us before ordering and we will confirm what is in stock.
