Air-Care Bio Cart 10 HEPA Containment Cart

The Bio Cart 10 HEPA Containment Cart is designed to offer a portable, efficient, and safe solution for maintenance work in sensitive environments, such as hospitals, clean rooms, and other facilities requiring stringent air quality control. This unit ensures negative pressure and HEPA filtration to prevent the spread of dust, dirt, and biological contaminants during ceiling work, inspections, or minor construction tasks.

The Bio Cart HEPA 10 is 81cm wide x 185cm long and only 195cm high, easily fits through most doors and elevators, and the top expands up to 3 meters high to reach the majority of ceilings in commercial or industrial facilities.

• HEPA Filtration: Equipped with a HEPA air scrubber that filters 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, ensuring clean air is exhausted out the bottom in a diffused pattern to avoid disturbing paperwork on desks and tables.

• Portable and Efficient: The Bio Cart 10 is designed for easy mobility, with a power lift mechanism that allows the top to be raised and lowered with a single touch, making it quick to set up and transport.

Operation

Setup:

1. Move the Bio Cart to the work area, ensuring all four sides are outside the target ceiling area.
2. Set the wheel brakes and connect the power cord to a grounded outlet.
3. Enter the cart, and close the door. Select manual or remote lift operation on the control panel. The remote works outside the Bio Cart if you wish to watch the bellows from that point of view. Raise the bellows until the foam seal touches the ceiling.

During Work:

1. Keep the air scrubber running continuously to maintain negative pressure.
2. Perform necessary maintenance tasks using the built-in utilities.

Post-Work:

1. Lower the top and secure any contaminated clothing in a plastic bag.
2. Unplug the power cord and retract it into the cart.
3. Unlock the wheels and move the cart to the next location.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the cart inside and out with appropriate sanitisers, especially after use in different environments.
• Filter Replacement: Replace the pre-filters and HEPA filter as required, following proper disposal procedures for contaminated materials.
• Routine Inspections: Check electrical wiring, wheels, door locks, hinges, and the cart frame for any damage or wear and replace parts as necessary.

Compliance and Warranty

The Bio Cart HEPA 10 complies with relevant health and safety guidelines for portable, negative air, dust containment carts used in healthcare facilities. It meets CDC, ICRA, and OSHA standards for controlling dust and infectious particles during maintenance work.
