Technician's Note
This hose holds a memory when it is coiled for storage, so it will want to return to its coiled shape when you first run it out. Feed it out fully and let it relax before a job rather than fighting the coils under pressure. If you are not running it on a hose reel, a wall-mounted hanger keeps it coiled tidily and reduces kinking between jobs — the Hose Hanger 33cm is a good option.
Care and Inspection
- Release pressure before disconnecting and before coiling the hose away.
- Check the whole length for cuts, abrasion, bulges and flattened sections before each job. Replace a damaged hose rather than taping it.
- Check the fittings for leaks and damaged O-rings; a weeping fitting at 1,750 psi can spray hot solution.
- Keep it off hot exhausts and sharp edges, and do not drive over it.
- Drain it after use so solution does not sit in the hose.
