What Do the Numbers Mean?

11002 or 6508 - the first 2 or 3 numbers is the degrees or width of spray, 110 being 110 degrees, 65 being 65 degrees. Which width you choose depends your tool and how many jets you have and how close the jets are positioned to the carpet or fabric.

11002 or 95015 - the last two or three numbers determins the flow rate or, how big the hole is in the jet. The larger the number, the larger the hole, the higher the flow rate.

Commonly you would find that most truckmount users use a total of 04 or 06, i.e. a two jet wand would have 2 x 02 jets adding up to 4, or a 4 jet wand may have 4 x 015 (1.5) adding up to a total of 6. Commonly portable users use a total of 04.

When Should I Change my Jets?

When used in carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment, brass jets should be replaced every six months and stainless jets once a year. Although difficult to detect, jets do wear out and can contribute to uneven cleaning, loss of heat and change of chemical draw.
