We could not locate this part number in the Briggs & Stratton parts documentation we hold for the engines fitted to HydraMaster truckmounts (Mfg. No. 473177-0113-E1 on the Boxxer 427, and 356447-1239-G1 / Model Series 356400 on the Boxxer 318). That does not mean it does not fit them — it means we have not verified it, and we are not going to claim fitment we cannot stand behind.

If you are ordering for a machine you have not worked on before, read the engine label rather than assuming from the truckmount model. It takes a minute and it is the difference between the right part and a return.
Fitting advice
Never re-use a gasket. It has already taken a permanent set to the old joint under heat and clamping load, and it will not seal the same joint twice.
Clean both faces properly and check them for distortion before you reassemble. A warped flange leaks through a new gasket, and you will be doing the job again.
Follow the engine manufacturer's torque figures and tightening sequence. Uneven clamping is the most common cause of a joint that leaks after a gasket change.
