Grout wand
The design of the sonic welding on the Grout Wand has been improved to make the "Action Head" more durable. New solvent resistant "O" rings reduce the damage to components caused by solvent-based sealers. Easily applies the proper amount of sealer in one application with professional results. Push down and the sealer is applied, let up and the flow of sealer stops.
Why a dedicated grout tool
Grout sits below the tile surface, so a flat hard-surface tool passes straight over it. A grout wand concentrates spray and vacuum into the line itself, which is where the soil actually is.
The improved sonic welding on the action head and the solvent-resistant O-rings are both durability changes — this is a tool that gets dragged along an abrasive line under pressure, and the head and the seals are what wear.
Working method
Grout responds to dwell time more than to pressure. Apply, let the chemistry work, agitate with a grout brush, then extract. Chasing it with pressure alone erodes the grout and leaves a line that soils faster next time because the surface is now open.
