Clamp and Screw Kit for DriMaster Upholstery Tools

Regular price $136.62

Overview

HydraMaster part number 000-041-406, supplied by Carpet Cleaners Warehouse as a replacement clamp and screw kit for the DriMaster upholstery tools.

What we can verify — and what we cannot

This part number appears in HydraMaster's DriMaster Upholstery Tool (163-010) parts breakdown, where it is labelled against the tool's window — the clear inspection panel in the tool head that lets you see what the tool is recovering.

CCW's long-standing record describes it as a clamp and screw kit. Those two descriptions are not necessarily in conflict — a window retaining clamp and its screws is a plausible reading of both — but we have not been able to confirm the exact pack contents from HydraMaster's documentation, and we are not going to publish a parts list we cannot stand behind.

Please tell us what you are trying to replace before you order. We have raised this with HydraMaster as part of an ongoing parts identification request, and this page will be updated when we have their answer.

Where it sits on the tool

In the DriMaster upholstery tool parts breakdown it appears alongside:

  • 078-371 — valve repair kit
  • 061-010 — knob for on/off valve
  • 169-014 — manual ball valve
  • 052-541 (×2), 052-434, 052-582 — fittings
  • 125-178, 076-066, 163-029

Why the window matters on an upholstery tool

The window is not cosmetic. On upholstery work you are cleaning fabrics whose behaviour you cannot predict from the surface — and being able to see what is coming out of the fabric, and when it stops coming out, is the difference between cleaning a piece properly and over-wetting it.

A window that has gone opaque with fine scratching, or one that is loose in its clamp, costs you that information. A loose window is also a vacuum leak in the highest-value part of the tool's airflow.

Maintenance

Do not use an inappropriate tool to clear debris from the tool slot — HydraMaster caution against this in the DriMaster manual, and a screwdriver through a window is an expensive lesson.

Clean the inline filter weekly, as the tool manual specifies.

Frequently asked questions

Does it include the window itself?

We have not verified the pack contents. Ask us before ordering.

Which DriMaster tools does it suit?

It is named in the DriMaster Upholstery Tool (163-010) parts breakdown. Tell us which tool you have and we will confirm.

My window is loose. Is this the fix?

Very likely, but tell us what has actually failed — the clamp, the screws or the window — and we will make sure you get the right part.

Why is the description uncertain?

Because HydraMaster's breakdown and CCW's record describe it slightly differently and we have not been able to reconcile them from published documentation. We would rather say so than guess.

Send us a photo of what has failed on your DriMaster and we will identify the correct part before you order.
