This glide fits all versions, regardless of the vacuum tube size or metal type, of the Low Profile 2 or 4 jet post 2015 Westpac wands that have 1/4″ tall metal lips.
Please measure the metal lips before ordering this Glide to determine if you need the older “external” fit or the newer “internal fit” option.
Please note that this wand is constructed of sheet metal and welded together by humans. There are slight to moderate differences from wand to wand, so Glide fit can vary.GreenGlides does its best, and 80% of the time the Glide will fit snugly and perfectly. 10% of the time, it may be a bit loose, and the other 10%, a bit tight. If the Glide is loose, you can gently squeeze the opening in a bench vice to narrow the opening or use Shoe Goop-type silicone to secure the Glide. If the Glide is too tight to install, use a box knife to very carefully trim the Glide material where it is getting hung up. Trim a tiny bit at a time. You may also be able to pry the wand's lips open with a pry bar. We apologise for the headache, but these things are out of our control. Slot Glides– The best choice for dirtier carpet that has debris in or on it and for cleaners who prefer some resistance or grab at the carpet to the wand interface. Also, our Slots have recessed bridges, so there are no lines left in the carpet when the glide is new. As the face of the Glide wears down, the bridges can be recessed again with a knife, razor or Dremel tool. FYI, 80% of our Glide sales are Slots.
