Note this is a solution hose part, not a vacuum hose part, despite where it sits in the range.
Why Hose Ends Fail First
A solution hose almost never fails in the middle. It fails just behind the fitting, where the hose is stiff, the fitting is rigid, and every drag round a doorframe concentrates the bend into the same few centimetres.
A sleeve spreads that bend over a longer length so no single point takes it all. It is a small spend against a hose that is expensive to replace and always fails at the least convenient moment.

This is the 1/4 inch ID version, confirmed. A 3/8 inch version exists separately as AH82A, which CCW does not currently stock. If your solution hose is 3/8 inch, this is not the guard for it — contact us before ordering.
