What a glide changes
A bare wand head drags, so the operator pushes harder, the head lifts at the front and the vacuum seal breaks intermittently. A glide lifts the head onto a low-friction face so it slides, and holds a consistent gap so airflow into the slot is even along its length. The wand pushes more easily, the carpet comes up drier, and the operator can work at a consistent speed.
Check the tube size
This is the 1.5 inch glide. The 2 inch version is a separate part. Measure the wand tube before ordering.
Glides are dimension-specific. Measure your wand head or send us a photograph with a tape across it and we will confirm before you order.
