Product Overview
These wraps are just what you need to protect you and your client from the possible damage created when a steaming hot quick connect meets with carpet or bangs into floors or furniture.
Just wrap up each quick connect and you're completely insulated from some heated discussions.
Why a Quick Connect Is the Risk, Not the Hose
Solution hose is insulated along its length and it flexes. The quick connect is neither. It is a solid brass or stainless fitting carrying hot solution, and it sits at the exact point where the hose is dragged around a doorframe or dropped on a client's floor.
Two things happen. The metal conducts heat straight into whatever it is resting on, which on a synthetic carpet or a vinyl plank means a mark you cannot lift. And it is hard and heavy, so it chips skirtings, scuffs stair nosings and dents furniture legs.
A wrap solves both — it puts a soft insulating layer between the fitting and the surface, and it stays on the fitting rather than sliding off down the hose.
Where They Earn Their Keep
- Occupied residential work, particularly stairs and hallways where the hose is repeatedly repositioned
- Timber, laminate and vinyl plank floors, where a hot fitting left resting for a minute is enough to mark
- Insurance and strata work, where a mark you did not cause still becomes your problem to prove
- Any job where the client is watching the hose run through their house

Frequently Asked Questions
How many are in a pack?
The manufacturer does not publish a pack quantity for this item and we would rather tell you that than print a number we cannot verify. Contact us before ordering and we will confirm exactly what ships.
Will they slide down the hose?
They are designed to fit tightly to the hose rather than slide. A wrap that migrates is usually one that has been fitted to a hose diameter it was not intended for.
Do I need them if I run cold water?
The insulation matters less, but the impact protection does not. Most of the damage a quick connect does to skirtings and furniture is mechanical.
Can I use them on the vacuum hose as well?
They are made for solution-line quick connects. For vacuum hose protection see the Sleeve Hose Guard.

What We See in the Field
Hose wraps make a van and a job site tidier, but too many of them turn a flexible hose pair into a rigid snake that fights the technician around corners. Use enough to keep the solution line with the vacuum hose without clamping it so tightly that heat and movement abrade the hose.
