Why hose management is not housekeeping
Loose hose in an occupied property is the most common way a technician creates damage — it catches furniture legs, marks skirtings and door frames, and it is the thing a customer trips over. Hose that is hung is also hose that dries, and hose that dries does not go back in the van wet to grow something.
The webbing and hook-and-loop closure means one hand and no fittings, which is the only reason a hanger actually gets used rather than left in the van.
Sizing
Three lengths are available: 33 cm, 58 cm and 86 cm. The short one suits a coiled spare or a solution line; the long one takes a full coil of 2 inch vacuum hose. Most vans end up with more than one.
