The Extech MO290-P is a Moisture Pin Probe featuring dual sharp pins measuring 1cm in length, suitable for use as spare or replacement probes with select Extech Moisture Meters (MO290/MO295/MO297/MO300). This probe includes two durable pins that are 1cm in length and assembled for optimal performance.

Pin probe or hammer probe?
At 1 cm this reads near the surface — which is what you want on drywall, thin stock and finishes. For structural timber and depth readings, the MO290-HP hammer probe with 4 cm insulated pins is the tool.
