How to Use It on an Upholstery Job
- Dry soil first: brush seats, backs and arms to release lint, pet hair and dry soil, then vacuum.
- Agitate: after prespray, work the fabric lightly in one direction to spread the chemistry evenly.
- Finish: once cleaned, brush the pile in one direction so it dries uniformly and the nap looks even.
Always test on a hidden area first, and follow the fabric's cleaning code. Velvet, chenille and other pile fabrics should be brushed with the nap, with light pressure.
Handi Brush or Handi Groom?
The Handi Brush has short, soft, close-set bristles for delicate textiles and fine rugs. For stairs, vehicle carpet and oriental rug fringes, the Handi Groom is the hand-held carpet groomer, with a spatula on the handle for scooping up spillage and residue when spotting. Care
- Pick out hair and lint after each job.
- Rinse in clean water after contact with cleaning chemistry and dry bristles-down.
- Keep it for upholstery and fine textiles only, so it does not carry grit from carpet onto fabric.

Is it suitable for car interiors?
Yes. Automotive fabrics are one of its listed uses — seats and trim fabric where a large tool will not fit.
Can I use it on silk or antique rugs?
It is recommended for Oriental, Persian and quality area rugs. Silk and antique pieces vary widely — test first on a hidden area, use very light pressure, and if in doubt leave agitation out.
Wet or dry?
Both. Use it dry before vacuuming, and during and after wet cleaning to agitate and set the nap.
