FiberPlus pads are ideal for carpet scrubbing. This soft synthetic pad is fortified with an elastomeric property that adds to its durability. These pads are well suited for scrubbing carpets with the correct degree of agitation. FiberPlus pads can also be used for light floor scrubbing.

Standard or MAX?
The beige pad is the everyday choice for commercial carpet scrubbing and encapsulation. For heavily soiled, dense commercial loop carpet, the grey FiberPlus MAX Pads 17 Inch are more aggressive — and are for durable commercial loop carpet only.

Why Scrub the Carpet with Pads Rather than Brushes?
Consider this illustration. You have a greasy frying pan to clean. You could get it clean by scrubbing it with a scrub brush, but if you scrub it with one of those green kitchen pads the pan will clean up even easier.
Why? Because the pads make more surface contact. So when we scrub a carpet with a pad the same principle holds true. We have better agitation and we use less solution to get the job done.
How Long They Last
FiberPlus pads are durable. They last approximately 650 to 930 square metres per installation when used for carpet cleaning. That agrees with the US supplier's figure of 7,000–10,000 ft² per pad.
Replace pads when they wear down to 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness.
Using FiberPlus Pads
- Vacuum thoroughly first.
- Pre-spray with your encapsulation or scrubbing detergent — see Encapsulation & Bonnet Cleaning Chemicals.
- Centre the pad on a 17 inch (43 cm) pad driver.
- Scrub in overlapping passes and keep the machine moving.
- Check pad thickness regularly and replace at 6 mm.

Can I use it on residential carpet?
The US supplier lists sturdy residential carpet. Test in an inconspicuous area first, and avoid delicate or loosely twisted pile.
What size do I need?
Match the pad to your pad driver. This is the 17 inch (43 cm) pad. CCW also stocks the 8 inch pad (box of 15).
Are they washable?
FiberPlus does not publish laundering instructions, so CCW makes no claim. Wear to 6 mm thickness is the replacement point.
Pad or bonnet?
