Mytee H606A 2 inch swivel bearing for the Mytee 8314T Bentley carpet wand. It is the bearing in the Bentley's swivel joint, fitted to the wand tube, and it is what lets the head turn so the wand can work close to flat under furniture.
A Wear Part, and One That Costs You When It Fails
When the swivel stiffens, the operator fights the wand all day. When it leaks, you lose vacuum right at the tool, where it matters most.
A wand that has become tiring to use, with no other obvious change, is usually a seizing swivel rather than a tired operator.
Replacing the Bearing
Mytee's service procedure for the 8314T is:
- Heat the old bearing to release it from the wand tube.
- Bond the new H606A bearing onto the tube with a general-purpose epoxy.
- Fit and grease the O-ring (Mytee part G645), then reassemble, taking care not to cross-thread the nylon nut.
You need a torch and epoxy. The O-ring is a separate Mytee part number — replace it at the same time rather than refitting a worn one.
