Leather Master Wax On revives the finish on waxed and wax/oil pull-up leather.
Waxed leathers need to be revitalised occasionally to maintain their waxed finish. Wax On is designed to restore the look and feel of wax leathers, and provide added protection against stains. It is also an excellent remedy for mild scratch marks and light fading. Wax On can also be used on bycast leather to improve the surface feel and to remedy light scuffs and scratches.
Reapplication: Every 3-6 months, or after cleaning with a leather cleaner
Drying time: 4-5 minutes touch dry/ 30 minutes completely cured
Coverage: 250 ml will treat approximately 30-40 seats/each wipe will treat approximately 2-3 seats (coverage will vary depending on the absorbency of the leather)

What It Is For
Pull-up leathers are finished with wax or oil that lightens where the hide is stretched, scuffed and worn. Over time the finish dries out and the leather looks lighter, patchy or scratched. Wax On is a water-based treatment that puts the finish back. Leather Master describe it as restoring the softness and appearance of wax and wax/oil pull-up leather and addressing mild scratches and light fading from wear.
It is not a cleaner. Clean the leather first, then apply Wax On.

How to Apply
- Confirm the leather type. Wax On is for wax or wax/oil pull-up leather and bycast. If you are not sure what the finish is, ask us before you start.
- Clean the leather with Leather Master Soft Cleaner and let it dry.
- Test on a hidden area and let it dry fully before treating the visible surface. Results vary with the finish and how worn it is.
- Shake well. Wipe Wax On evenly over the leather with a clean cloth. On scratches or worn areas, work it gently into the leather until the area darkens and blends in.
- Allow 4–5 minutes to touch dry and 30 minutes to cure fully. Leather Master note a hair dryer can be used to speed drying.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Wax On on pigmented (protected) leather?
Leather Master list Wax On for wax and wax/oil pull-up leathers and bycast. For pigmented leather, clean it and finish with Leather Master Protection Cream.
Will it remove deep scratches?
No. Wax On deals with light scuffs, mild scratch marks and light fading. Cuts, deep scratches and colour loss need leather repair. Send us a photo and we will point you in the right direction.
Will it change the colour of the leather?
Pull-up leather darkens as the finish is put back, which is how Wax On blends scratches and worn areas. That is why you test on a hidden area and let it dry before doing the whole piece.
How often should it be applied?
Every 3–6 months, or after the leather has been cleaned with a leather cleaner.
