Product Overview

Disposable latex gloves, 5 mil, small, 100 ambidextrous gloves per dispenser. Strong and economical, for light-duty chemical and liquid-resistant work.

Important — Small Only

CCW currently stocks this glove in small only. If you need medium, large or extra large, contact us and we will source them rather than have you order the wrong size.

Know What a Disposable Glove Is and Is Not

These are light-duty gloves for chemical and liquid resistance during ordinary spotting and cleaning work.

They are not the right protection for handling concentrates, solvents, or the chemicals used in mould and sewage work. Those call for a chemical-resistant glove selected against the safety data sheet for the product you are using.

Check the SDS. It states the glove material required, and latex is not always it. A glove that is wrong for the chemistry gives you the confidence of protection without the protection.

Latex Allergy

These contain natural rubber latex, which can cause allergic reactions in sensitive people.

Latex sensitisation is real and it develops with exposure — someone who has worn latex for years without trouble can still develop it. If anyone on your team reacts to latex, move the whole van to nitrile rather than keeping both: cross-contamination in a shared kit defeats the purpose.

Operating Advice

  • Change them when they are contaminated, not when they tear. A glove is a barrier, and a barrier with product on the outside goes on the next thing you touch.
  • Do not reuse disposables.
  • Wash your hands after removing them. Gloves are not a substitute for that.
  • Keep the dispenser out of direct sun in the van. Heat degrades latex.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are other sizes available?

Not currently stocked. Ask us and we will source them.

Are these suitable for handling concentrates?

No. Check the SDS for the product you are using and select a chemical-resistant glove accordingly.

What if someone on the crew is allergic to latex?

Move the whole van to nitrile. Keeping both in a shared kit means cross-contamination.

What does 5 mil mean?

The glove thickness. It is a general-purpose disposable thickness — adequate for light duty, not for extended chemical contact.

What We See in the Field

The glove in the van is usually the glove that was cheapest, not the glove the job needs. That is fine for spotting work and genuinely unsafe for solvent and sewage work, and the SDS is the only thing that tells you which is which.
